It would take up far too much space to do that here. The best I can do to answer your question is the link below to allmusic.com's listing of subgenres within the broader category of rock. If you go there you will see that there are simply tons and that is just for rock. You can follow the links near the top of the page to other genres with even more subcategories. I doubt that, even if you took all of them together, it would be completely exhaustive.

Really, when you think about it, there is a sense that every musician or band, or even every song, has its own variety of music because every one is (at least slightly) different from all others in the conditions and influences of its creation. The permutations are endless.

There are way too many genres and sub genres to list all of them, it would basically be an endless list because music evolves all the time.
