For just liking someone hell yeah it was too much. There isn't enough like in the world. What were you thinking? Whenever you bring someone that many gifts back you're getting them to think that you're going to be buying them things all the time, and now he's going to be expecting it. Don't buy him anything else, and let him know that you were only thinking about him and the gifts were very inexpensive. That way he knows that you're not desperate. Good luck sweetie. For future references unless you're in a serious relationship with someone all gifts are limited to under $20 and only holidays, excluding Thanksgiving and Halloween and all those other non-gift exchange holidays.

Yes. Twelve gifts is excessive. However, he has alread received your gifts. Know this. A gift is a gift. If you are looking for something in return then the gift is now a deal. Gifts should be given with no strings attached. You are expecting to win this man's attention and affection with gift giving. Just be yourself and do not try too hard. If it works, fine. If not, move on.

I think it was a little to much, try to back off from the guy you might be scearing him off, and that is not what you want to do. Next time a small gift would do the trick. Don't feel bad eveyone learns from life.

Some gays like me do not want to be compared...May be the sex you did with him you compared it with what you did with someone.....He thought you are a virgin....Even if you give such a gay 100 times gift of more high caliber than what you bought still it will count nothing....Just go to him and confess.....before it remains to be a psychological problem.
