do any of us really know all the circumstances involved? Maybe she wasn't paying attention when she was driving, but that describes the majority of people driving. It could've been a true "accident'. It doesn't seem to be an intentional thing. As far as I know she wasn't drinking, so there was nothing criminal. From what I've read she was on the freeway going 65 (which I believe is the speed limit) and the cars slowed down for some reason, she didn't notice and rear ended a 2005 Toyota. The Toyota then hit a 1989 Toyota. The 2005 Toyota then slid sideways and hit the center divider. As the 2005 Toyota came to a halt, it was struck by a 1988 Acura. It sounds like it was all an accident. How many times have any of us been caught when traffic slows down quickly in front of you. Don't you breath a sigh of relief when you can stop in time and haven't you seen others rear end someone when they can't. Brandy should receive some sort of punishment (fines, community services, etc) but if it was just an accident and not something intentional or criminal then why should she go to prison. If this were an average, everyday person they propably wouldn't be charged or would just receive the fines, etc. You say you are sick of people defending her because she's "Brandy" but you seem to want excessive punishment for her because she is "Brandy." Yes, it is sad that someone died, but it does seem to be an accident. Everyone has accidents from time to time. But to say someone needs to do "heavy jail time" for an unintentional act is mean.

I also am disgusted with you saying all the stuff about her being black. If it was an accident then it was an accident.

her african ancestry is irrelevant to the situation at hand, which was an automobile accident. Brandy wasn't drunk or being reckless and it was an accident not a homicide so I think she should just thank god she survived the crash herself.

It sounds like hollywood. But reading the story, the police are still running their equiries, and there is a good chance she will be charged.

Why she is a target of your anger and discriminate. Let the authority take care of that. It is not in your control. So let it be. No one deserved to be call name like that.
