I would put a big wooden patio, with tiki statues and heat lamps. A big bar with a stereo system, and a bbq.

I would have less grass to mow and more landscaped flower beds. I want to make my backyard my little area where I can just go sit and watch my fish in my pond and be me without all my neighbors seeing me. I live on a lake so I don't want to loose that view. I am planning on working on this dream this spring. Wish me luck!!

I have a goldfish and koi pond. It's about 2000 gallons..I would like to make it about 4000 or even 6000 gal. My daughter and granddaughter live with me and yell we can't because they will start charging us for lake front property on the taxes. I don't believe that will stop me though!
The only thing that would is my age and having to dig it myself. 65+???

The why is because I love the hobby and I love seeing all the babies (goldfish/koi) in the spring and the wildlife that use the pond. I'm tired of finding new homes for them.
Thanks for asking

Well first i would put up a fence so my husky could just go out when he wanted to. then I would set a square off for a garden and another for a playground for the kids.I live in a nice neighborhood so without the fence to hide the garden home owners would have a fit.

I would encourage more tall things to grow there, because there will be houses built in what was once a pasture and I want privacy and to have attractive plants to look out on. I would also build rock walls to create terraces so I can weed without bending.

Been there, done that. I've put a below ground pool in and landscaped to suit. Completely changed it, uses less water and lower maintenence. More time to use the pool.

I would be delighted to HAVE a back yard - I live in an apartment, and I REALLY miss having a garden!
