I've heard it being used in a group of white guys and a group of hispanic guys.

I'm sure some do. I've heard blacks call each other honky and Hispanics call each other gringo/wedo . I think it's as offensive as calling someone dipshi** or dumb@$$, but if that's what what people want to do, more power to them. Personally I call my brother "fool" "dog" "fu**er" but we do it to each other and I figure that's all that matters, but doesn't make it right to anyone on the outside looking in (when we talk people probably think we're about to throw down, just our personalities). If any of my white friends called me the n-word, I wouldn't give it a second thought. It would be a different story if a random person did it though.

In my town there are a lot of wanna be blacks,they dress in black clothes stiles and yes call each other the N word ! My black Friends think their dumb and so do i.

I have never called anyone that nor have they called me that. I think it is only the wannabees that do that. However I have called whites, white trash. I have no problem in using that term, since I use it only when it is so.

if you're not a racist, then why get scared of saying the word? ******. so what? most people would associate this with the term buddy, or pal. why look down on such a word if you have accepted things already?

can you blame them? as an african american i think its only natural for other groups to keep on using that insulting word or the dumb (*** ga) version if we as african americans set a bad example by using it everywhere from everyday conversations to hip hop songs.

I don't know about that, but I DO know that Latinos use that word even more than blacks these days.
