When I say adult, I mean a serious relationship between two people who are at least 19yrs old preferably 25 yrs or older. This is only because there are many things that you (at least I) experience after the sheltered life of college is over.

Please don't get offended..I actually have ADHD myself and wonder if anyone else has problems in their relationship at times because of it! I feel bad for my boyfriend of four years sometimes. Yes, I can be exciting and am very intelligent but can also be a handful with the disorganization and moodiness ect. And no, I don't have bipolar just ADHD.

I agree with you on the fact that we are interesting, very intersting but there must be other people out there who either have serious boyfriends/girlfriends or husbands/wives and find it difficult at times to deal with us! My boyfriend loves me a great deal but I tend to sometimes "blurt" out what comes to mind without thinking and it usually is hurtful comments because I am ultra sensitive. I feel that a great deal that comes out of my mouth is just a protective mechanism that my boyfriend has learned to ignore. If he said those things to me however I would be devastated. You know, those things just to get a reaction at that particular moment that we regret later.

i love add people they are fun...my brother is and so is my son and so is the man i love...its great..we get along well...you just need to find the right person....cloe who made a comment before obviously isnt the right person...you are who you are and you cant change it...what you have is a gift not a curse....there will always be people who wont get along with you and then there will be ones who do...but what will make it better is if you stop doubting yourself and accept yourself...for while you are not accepting yourself neither will other people...its a universal law of attraction...look it up its about physics and what you believe you will attract...its a law like gravity...so if its a problem for you and you feel like its bad so will others...if u embrace who you are again so will others.
i hate how doctors classify people as if they are abnormal...we are all different...revel in your differences they are what make you unique and special and beautiful!

I have dated a minimum of one human being with ADHD (only one which became formally clinically determined...) and that i have upload myself. i am going to inform you from journey that it takes various of persistence. in case you at the on the spot are not careful, it would properly be very troublesome. the secret's to be very sparkling on your communications; if some thing is bothering you, ensure that you do clarify (properly, of direction) what it is and why it is a difficulty, because anticipating someone with upload to %. up on subtle alerts will only make both one in all you unhappy. in case you go with more desirable preparation on upload/ADHD look at a e book said as presented From Distraction. It has a ton of fantastic advice on managing upload, which consists of some should you don't have it, yet stay with someone who does. in truth, there is an entire financial ruin on what to do when you're in a relationship with someone with upload. I rather propose it.

My husband is ADD. I didn't realize it when we got married. The impulsiveness and all that I loved when we were younger is now very annoying. He refuses to acknowledge or treat it. It is very hard to not be annoyed all the time when I'm with him or talking to him. We are never on the same page. I grew up - he didn't.
