Why in the American culture, they care so much about white teeth, like not talking to someone or ignore someone just because of that? They are willing to do a lot of work in their mouth? And the dentist recommend and sales all kinds of stuff....

People in my culture, just accept how bad people teeth look like...

I mean a lot of people find that the pearly whites or perfectly white and straight are kinds of putting off...

The same reason we Americans put on makeup, wear nice clothes, get braces, cosmetic surgery, spend time on our hair, drive nice cars, and worry about our weight and general appearance. It makes us feel better about ourselves because it is more pleasing to other people.

It's obvious that beautiful teeth are nice to look at; however, I believe that hygiene is what matters. As long as a person's teeth are clean and taken care of, I have nothing to object, even becaue not everyone has enough money to change the shape or color of their teeth. Although, I must say that I wouldn't date a man whose teeth are yellowish, a smile in a man is very important, it's the main physical feature for me.

I like white teeth. I like how money can fix teeth.

i see someone with bad teeth and i feel they have poor hygene, your teeth are very important theyr is nothing worse than smelling someones bad breath that probably is why people avoid talking to someone, plus toothpaste is so cheap, theyr is no excuse

well, if your teeth are not straight and white it usually denotes poor health or you didnt have the money to take care of them. sorry if you dont like us the way we are, we dont ask you to change. be what you are.

i agree with you man, america is a very look obsessed society.

people might not even talk to you if you're wearing shoes that

don't match with your shirt. people out here are very shallow ( for

the most part).
