I've worn a lot of makeup for years and have my routine down to a few simple steps. ;) Usually, the first thing I do is to apply lotion (like baby lotion or Aveeno) to the area around my eyes and let it sit for a few seconds. Then, I use baby wipes or tissues to wipe off the lotion; this takes off eyeliner and mascara really well! After that, I wash my whole face with Noxzema. Btw, I would suggest AVOIDING waterproof mascara in all forms, as it's particularly hard to remove, and it can be very damaging to delicate eyelashes! Hope this helps! :)

Baby oil is the best, and I know from years of experience that it is safe to use around the eyes, unless ofcourse you have extremely sensitive eyes. It's cost-effective, too. I put some on a cotton ball and gently wipe it over my eyes until the base, shadow and mascara are gone, then wash my face with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser, like Cetaphil.

Hope that helps!

Mary Kay Oil-Free Makeup Remover. Baby oil and Vaseline work but it is not good for your eyes.

This is gonna sound weird, and probably disgusting as well, but I've found that regular virgin olive oil works really well for removing mascara. Plus, it's good for your skin as well, and so much cheaper than regular make-up remover.

BABY OIL IS A GOOD MASCARA REMOVER. FIRST, WET YOUR EYES WITH WATER TO SOFTEN THE MASCARA , THEN USE THE BABY OIL.

Marcelle liquid eye make up remover. you really should only use baby oil once a week, max. its not made for eyes so you have the potential for disaster(such as blindness) if it gets in your eyes

I frequently purely use moisteriser on a towel or wash fabric after ive gotten out of the bathe. the faster you do it once you get out of the bathe the extra effective it fairly works, yet additionally works without showering - ie basically a freshen up during the day etc. I used to apply toddler wipes yet woth daily use they began to sting my epidermis.
