It can affect it in agood way or in a wrong way..For example teachers treat the children of 9 as if they are adults ..or more then adults ..they want the children learn by heart 9x8=? and complicated and unuseful math operations and repeated countless problems , in a couple of weeks, and this is imposible even for adults ..to memorize phone numbers.Children of 9 are required to learn abstract grammer things and math..and it is imposible ..They better ask the children to learn what life is , what people are...how to respect the other..this is intelligence...But in other respects , if the child is a teenager , he can also have a teacher of 30 , it would be closed to them , but a good and mild teacher of 50 is also good, or better , because he is more clever, cleverer due to his age..But this depends ...At the university , the more the teacher is a man of 50,-60 y.o.and knows life better , it is better ...But there are teachers who want to be a kind of god ,,,and their sayings learnt by heart -in the past countries of comunism , and this is not ...better...at all.

2 years is probable an appropriate age hollow. My brother and that i are 4 years aside (it became in user-friendly terms meant to be 2, yet my mom and dad had to purpose for a 12 months earlier ultimately getting pregnant with him). i think of it became complicated on the two one individuals because of the fact he hated having to attend 4 years to do the failings I have been given to do first. And while i became youthful i could no longer bypass some places without bringing him alongside. We did play mutually, yet when I reached 10 or 11 the age distinction grew to alter into greater of a difficulty from then on. we are close now, yet did no longer have a great dating until i became out of highschool. Our age hollow probable could have been less difficult if we've been the two a similar intercourse. whether that's a stable adventure having a brother because of the fact all my pals have been women.

Yes. Sometimes you feel a teacher is too old or too young and that changes how you react to the class. It really depends on the subject and group you are teaching.

If im learning about computers and such then I take teachers closer to my age more seriously. They have been born and raised in a computer world. I respect older teachers in areas like math, science, history etc.

No. Unless the teacher is "old" in attitude, motivation and style. A teacher who knows their subject and teaches it in a contemporary manner - tethering the subject to real life so that students see it as relevant, is younger than springtime and commands total respect. We are all people and the connection is natural between the generations. It is the troubled students and the troubled adults that stop the process cold.

I have to say I have a slight bias. The closer a professor is to my age, the less I take them seriously. I figure wisdom comes with age and experience so I tend to respect the elder professors more and tend to view the younger ones as 'newbies we students have to break in'. Of course the professor can also be too old in which case you can't trust what they say because you think they are senile.
