Why is America the greatest country?

As M.D of HUGEPANTS ive got nothing but praise for the USA, they have kept my business going from their sales.My brother who owns SLIMFAST USA feels the complete opposite to me and is thinking of pulling out of the American market.As an Englishman i have to say i love the USA whoop whoop whoop USA USA USA

I'm an American, but from a neutral standpoint I wouldn't say America is "the greatest country". That ignores the fact that the US has plenty of flaws of its own, and the fact that we live in a very globalized world in which we are interdependent on many other countries, the oil in the Middle East being a good example of this, as well as the fact that so many things we own were originally made in China. There are plenty of places that excell in things that the US does not, too... For example, many find that cars and wine from European countries are better than their American equivalents, and don't forget Japan's electronics. Many exotic crops may grow in Latin America, Asia, or Africa, when they either do not or are out of season in the US.

What may very well be considered true about the US, however, is that we are the top country in terms of international power, including our military force, our economic power, and our influence (both politically and culturally). We are (or at least we were, some debate this) the only superpower remaining in the world since the declines of the Soviet Union and the British Empire. Much of the reason for this comes down to the aftermath of World War II, and the failure of communism following that. We may very well be challenged by China, India, or the European Union in the not-so-distant future, however.

USA is the greatest country because it has the most powerful military arsenal .It is the greatest in aggression and insulting other peoples .USA could be the greatest if and only if it respects the others and cooperate with them .USA uses its power for its own interests even if that usage destroy the others as it is happening in Iraq.

America is the greatest because we are comprised of people of all races and creeds. We also (90%) of us came here poor and ready too work. Our grandparents told us about how hard life was for our ancestors so we need too work hard too. Oh ya our government steals technology and the smartest people on the planet.
