Just to be different, if she's sweet I won't hold being beautiful against her. And she might not be as quick as others, but that's not her fault either, is it? I feel sorry for beautiful girls sometimes, waiting for a date cause the guys are too intimidated to ask. And I know people who had a hard time at school who are smarter at life skills than Phd's.

Beautiful and sweet but dumb is annoying. When someone really is dumb it is hard to ever carry on a good conversation and they really seem to be in their own world. However if they are Sweet and they make your life happy they could be a great friend.
Plain sweet and Intelligent can go further..
That person could be the best partner ever because if you can get attracted to them through their mind and their sweet heart you will expand your own self. It is better to go for the plain sweet and intelligent because you have better potential for growth in your life.
It just depends on what you are talking about...

Yeah plain sweet and intelligent is the choice for both, but dont discount someone that is not that bright. They can light up your life with humor! Everyone has something about them that you can appreciate at times. :)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder AND it fades. Intelligence just grows. Imagine being 80 and needing companionship and the conversation is on hair, nails and waxing. Somehow, I dont think that scenario would work. So, I would choose whatever with intelligence.
