Cocoa Butter will not harm you. It is alright to use it.
Cocoa butter, in many ways, is the ultimate moisturizer in that it is highly concentrated. Cocoa butter is an outstanding skin protectant because of its superior soothing and healing properties and its ability to help the skin retain moisture. It creates a micro-thin barrier that seals moisture in while at the same time allowing your skin to breathe easily. Cocoa butter melts at body temperature. This helps it to penetrate into the skin. In short, it's the ideal moisturizer. It does leave a bit of a greasy feel.
A great facial moisturizer is Shea Butter. Shea Butter is solid and comes from the natural fat obtained from the karite tree grown in West and Central Africa. Shea butter is an emollient. It is extremely therapeutic, helping to heal cracked, aged and damaged skin. Its chemical constituents help to heal bruising and soreness. Shea butter penetrates the skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. It has vitamin A, E and is highly compatible with skin. Shea Butter has many documented healing properties, with helping to strengthen Nails & Cuticles to helping heal scars, burns and blemishes, to minimizing wrinkles, just to name a few. ....Shea Butter melts upon skin contact to revitalize, soften and maintain moisture without leaving any greasy residue.
Shea Butter may be better for your face and then use the cocoa butter for your body. When you are looking for Shea Butter you need to look for a creme/butter instead of a lotion. The lotion is not as concentrated.

I wouldn't unless you are really set on it. The oil in cocoa butter can clog pores and make acne worse. You want to look for something that is noncomedogenic. Those are products that are made with ingredients that are less likely to cause breakouts, blackheads... There are plenty of items out there. I like the Olay Total Effects 7x. (I use the fragrance free version) It's a good moisturizer and it has SPF. You're smart for starting to take care of your skin so early! The cocoa butter is fine for the rest of your body though!

no it will help your skin to stay smooth and smell really good.I especially use it in the winter to keep my skin smooth and itch and dry free. Don't use it in the summer i used it one summer and went outside for like an hour and came back in the house to notice my skin was like a shade and a half darker. But other than that it is wonderful, i think that Palmer's cocoa butter is the best they are the original and the scent just makes u melt. My skin has a healthy glow to it i don't even use foundation i just use lipliner and gloss plus eyeliner of course.

yes, putting cocoa butter on your face will break your face out and its happened to me before. You should try using a facial moisturizer or Proactiv that will help make your skin look better.

Proabably not. Depends on how sensitive your skin is. Try it on a weekend, just to see how you like it.
