It's not good enough for my brain that I can look on the web and find silly sites about it, or see silly kids at my college that call themselves that.
And how would you compare an 'emo' to a 'goth'? My impression was that emo was kind of a watered down version of goth, and it still seems that way...if they're even in the same family that is?

emo is emotional, tending to the feminine sides in behaviour at times.
goth is about standing out from standard society, the shock factor at times. a certain beauty in darkness factor applies to most goths, but goth has many various subcultures within the subculture.

they're mainly just overly "emo"tional people. They become overly emotional over different things so much so they think about suicide and death, and thinks that nobody likes them and takes everything to such an extent they believe they are "misunderstood."... I agree with your words "watered down goth"

the way i see it, its just how they dress. But i see em both act the same way, in my experience. Goth are da ones in makeup and chains and stuff.

i really wouldn't want to learn anything about them if i were you... and i still don't want to learn anything about them. i'll tell you this:
THEY'VE GOT ISSUES.
looking them up could affect your MIND.
