Even though I like all the Star Trek movies, I think "First Contact" is the best, because it has a fantastic storyline, great sets and first class acting. I was just wondering if anyone else agrees with my views !

First Contact was great, however, my favourite is still Star Trek IV, The Voyage Home (with the whales). For TNG, I agree with you that First Contact was the best (closely followed by Nemesis).

Star Trek IV is the best Star Trek, followed closely by Wrath of Khan.

I'll have to disagree. The Wrath of Khan is the best Star Trek movie, hands down.
For what it's worth, the internet movie database (imdb.com) users seem to agree with me: of all the star trek movies, that one is rated highest.

I agree. But, in my opinion, the TNG cast could have sang and danced in a movie, and it still would have been better than most of the original Star Trek movies.
TNG is just better.

i'm no longer a extensive fan of famous individual Trek, yet i'm a fan. i like the television instruct, and the different video clips are stable too, and that i will probable bypass see the movie ultimately. i'm nowhere close to a Trekkie nevertheless.

All of those were great movies. I don't like most of the newly made movies (1990 and younger) but First contact was deffinively an exeption. I liked it, most of all the "Steppenwolf"-sondtrack (magic carpet ride)
