I have good reason to believe I'll be in this position some day, and I think moving away is a good start. Live wisely and be very careful of my surroundings A good alarm system and not being afraid to defend myself to the death, too.

1. Make a last will and testament; include a power of attorney (POA) for care, and other aspects.
2. Keep a diary, update it daily, this may come in handy for police work, or simply put things in clearer perspective.
3. Be aware, but not paranoid, of your surroundings.
4. Savor each day as it comes, no sense living in fear.
5. Face your mortality, we will all pass away, although in different ways.

I would never pick up a hitchhiker to begin with, but if someone was stalking me and trying to kill me, I'd get help from anywhere I could. Store owner, police, etc. I'm sure my adrenaline level would probably give me a heart attack.

i'm willing to put up a fight instead of running like the movies portray the standard victim. sure i'd probably end up dead on account of the fact that i'm puny, but no way am i gonna run from a killer. grab the kitchen knife and try to make sure he regrets it.
