12 years ago my mother got custody of me and sister my mam had a partner who she later married but i went to live with me dad just after they married they have been divorced for two years seperated 2 years prior to that please help me we are very much in love he is 35 im 22

Forgetall the bit about him having been your mother's husband for a minute..... i actually think you are still very young, and he is 13 years older than you. That is quite a big gap! I was married to someone once who was 9 years older than me and the difference showed. Believe me a decade matters! I don't know how long you have been with him or under what circumstances you got together but i honestly advise you to wait a bit before you do anything like get married!

It is a weird situation and you will get a lot of stick from a lot of people! What does your sister say? what does your MOTHER say??? Don't be blinded by love, or sex, or anything else. This is your future you are talking about.

There are laws in the UK to say who you can and can't marry. You better check it out to see if it is legal before you do anything more. But i fear any union between you two is bound to end in tears - for you and any possible children.

You think you are grownup but 22 is still very young - dont make any decisions on marrying for 3 years is my advice!

STOP! FIND YOUR OWN MAN HONEY. You are searching for something in all of the wrong places and that wrong place in your mothers ex-husband. If you and he feel that you are that much in love before you do anything go seek help from a professional and find out the root of the attraction to this ex-father figure. Or are you just the rebel of the family and are lusting for the shock value. This will not last dear. You will mess up so many relationships that may not mean too much to you right now, but as you mature and grow older you will want in your life. Blood is thicker than water or lust.

In other words you want to marry your stepfather? I don't think that would be too wise. First, how would your relationship with your mother be if you did that? How does he really feel about you? Why does he feel as though he has to marry his stepdaughter who is 13 years younger than he? I won't tell you what to do, but I don't think your relationship would last. Your stepfather sounds like an old hunting dog who is still on the prowl. You're going to get hurt if you do get married. So I'd say don't.

you can't help who you fall in love with, but this could step on a few toes.
I would wait for a while before you do anything as the age difference can be an issue(my social life is alot different now i'm 37 than when i was 22)
Don't listen to people who say you are sick,they just live a life that they are told to by the media(sad).

I think this is totally creepy! And there is a chance he just wants a young fling and will tell you anything to have you sleep with him. You really need to talk to your mother about this. It is her ex. Tell her how you got started with him and tell her how you guys feel. Go ask your mom this question and see the reaction you get. I guess your cold hearted and don't give a damn how it would hurt your mother to have her ex-husband be her new son-in-law. But then again maybe it would not bother her and I'll see you all on the next Jerry Springer Show.
