That is not a mommy's boy....but a man who worries about his mother, and rightly so....she is a very important person in his life, and he is giving her the love and attention she deserves...don't feel threatened or angry with him, love him all the more, for he is a sensitive loving guy, not many of them around.

Yeah, exceptionally a lot he's. My spouse acts a lot an same way although, yet consisting of her brother. some thing's incorrect with the motor vehicle? I tell her what that is and what we want to do. yet does she pay interest to me? No, she calls her brother and each and every...unmarried...time he's faulty and that i'm correct. it would want to easily be the incontrovertible actuality that she would not understand what's faulty so she's no longer describing it correct. nonetheless, maximum issues are like this. we are going to communicate about some thing and he or she'll ultimately finally end up calling her brother to get his opinion and the subsequent time we communicate will upload this in as although that is 'yet another usa heard from'. they are close. I do not ignore that. yet, geez! @Rachel Wan: No. that's no longer a 'guy component'. i'm no longer that way. My Dad's no longer that way. Even my son's aren't any further that way. Then, too, i have widely used women human beings to do an same component. some human beings are merely momma's boys or women. You rolled the dice and were given a pair. ;o)

he loves his mother and this is wrong because.....
when you have children do you want them not to love you?
or when your sons turn 16 do you want them to tell you to go suck an egg?
do you not love your mother? is this the problem? maybe you had an abusive parent and he did not. is his mother jealous of you as well?
it sounds as if you have an honorable man.
if you want a badboy who will treat you like dirt then you are definately with the wrong guy. the badboy will be a lot more fun but when he is through with you he will toss you aside and find something else to amuse himself. but thats okay, there are lots more bad boys out there to take his place.
on the other hand there are a lot fewer available honorable men, i'm am sure that if you don't want him there will be other women who will.

If your husband's mother is elderly or ill, I could see why he would give her so much attention. However, when a couple is married, his primary attention should be on you, and not so much his mother. It doesn't mean he has to cutoff communications with her, but it's just that he needs to spend more time with you as his wife. I would never condone him to not loving his mother. It's just that he has to love you and give you attention, too. As for leaving him, talk to him and tell him how you feel. As long as the mom doesn't move in with you, I'd say be patient.

for the love of god If he wants to do her shopping for her ,take her to lunch or spends lunchtime with her or what ever he wants to do is his choice why can't you see that the man loves his mother she did raise him.Maybe thats his way of showing her how much he appreciates her. maybe he doesn't need to be with you.If you are going to be making such a big deal out of him doing the things that only a real son will do for his mother. get over it. she is still going to be his mother and he is still going to do these things and more for her .wheter you like it or not.

Do you have kids? What would you expect from them? There's nothing wrong loving your mother. Its a good thing. But if you don't understand that, leave him. You'll make him a favor.

And he wasn't like this before you married him?
As Dr. Laura would say - "What planet were YOU dating on?"
Guys don't "change" after marriage. He had to have been a momma's boy - you had to have had a clue - and for you to expect him to change now is just unfair.
BTW - how he treats her now is how he'll treat you....when SHE'S gone.
