I personally feel so because of the recent huge flux of users in Y! Answers and the rampant bad ratings!

I think even level 1 users can star a question, but cannot rate answers.

I just think there should be more levels. I agree that rating should be a 'reward' for something higher than 250 pts, but maybe level 3 should start at 500 or 700 points rather than 1000. Maybe ratings should be limited per day like other things are until you get to a high level. I think it sucks that levels stop at 7. They should keep going at least until level 10 or 20.
It's too easy for 'trouble makers' to get to level 2 before they get kicked off. Obviously all the 'thumbs downs' aren't only coming from level 2 people but the openly racist people and other jerks are usually level 1 or 2 since they get deleted before they can get too many points.

What's the point? Eventually the bad raters would get to the 3rd level then what do you do? Raise the level again? It's not world peace or the meaning of life; it's just Y answers, it's not that important. Let it stay the way it is.

sure even though it is not difficult to stay over the 25o factors must you drop under 250 factors answer 3 or 4 questions vote for some and you're able to be back to point 2 back.probabilities of dropping to 0 factors are distant till you asked fairly some questions.

I would disagree for the simple reason that I would still be working my fingers off trying to get to the next level....just so I could rate a question.
