Any money received for doing extra chores outside of what I had to do without getting punished. So lets see on a Saturday morning when I was around 9 or 10 she would probably offer me ten bucks to windex the windows from the inside only. Then I would add that to my secret money stash(from siblings) until I had enough to buy trendy clotheson our next mall trip.

Well i am from germany and my mom would give me .20 pfennings on sundays before we had to go to church.I would put .10 pfennings into the church basket and on the way home after church i would stop at the kiosk and buy me ten little pieses of candy.

They used to fulfill all our needs but no cash. They feel that cash will spoil us. This has positive impact.....(remember I am 68 and fail to implement this practice on my own children)
