I'm from the Appalachian mountains in West Virginia. Yes, Hillbillies are as real as the air you breathe. I live all around them. Hillbillies are down to earth, caring, willing to help and poorer then the adverage person. Their not into killing, fighting or causing trouble. So, if you seen a movie that portrayed that they are bad...it's not true!!! Rednecks will cause you more trouble then hillbillies.
