Yep, but over the years it's got less and less. It's all down to caring what people think of you. It's normal hun. Don't worry about it too much. Try this. When you are out and about look at everyone out there and ask yourself "is that person going home today to talk about what I looked like?" Then see how daft it is.

No, I feel beautiful and natural without make-up, but I feel a little self-conscious and fake with it. Why do you think it's called "make-up"? It's not your face. It's a made-up face. If you feel ugly and vulnerable without it, then you are saying that your self-esteem depends on you trying to look like someone else. Trust me on this. If no woman wore make-up, we would still have no problem getting guys, and we would still be beautiful to them.

I used to wear make up all the time, and felt like you without it. Now I hardly wear it any more - and I don't find it a problem. I feel good when I put on a full face, but not bad when I don't.
I have to say I would always wear make up before going to a big meeting or interview - I would feel naked without it in those situations!

I am now in my 40s and have hardly ever worn make-up. I will wear it if I'm going out to dinner or something, but only the bare minimum. I could NEVER think of clogging up my skin with foundation, powder etc. I always take time with my hair and clothes, but make-up - forget it!! I have always enjoyed life to the full and have never been short of friends/lovers. Beauty comes from your personality, not from a bottle.

Could be the war-paint scenario - warriors not feeling strong without their adornments.

It could be that in today's world, many people have less than perfect skin and seek to use the plethora of products aimed at covering such blemishes.

Yes beauty IS skin deep, but it is also in the eye of the beholder.
Yes there are attractive people out there, but there are also less attractive specimens amongst them.

Don't fall into the trap of believing that your own perception of perfection is on its own, for it most certainly is NOT.

Most girls I have been with would feel uncomfortable without a little. And to the guy who said beauty is only skin deep, rubbish, that's just what ugly people say!

Well... Some do, but they're generally superficial people. If you have spots and feel bad without coverup, I guess thats not too bad. Try leaving the house without makeup, it's good to have fresh air on your face :)

No.
I feel relieved of the obligation to not wear a mask in society.
I don't like the idea of painting my face like a clown.
Poisoning my skin to match my clothing.
I also do not like the attention it draws from the wrong people.
I prefer freedom from the oppression of advertizements.
Who are they to tell us how to be, especially when they are making a profit off of it?

I rarely wear make up, so no I feel fine without it, I think someone has dented your confidence for you to feel like that, believe in yourself and your beauty and ignore people who do you down.
