today i visite again to doctor,and again babys heartbeat is 144 per minute. it was 144 per minute last time?

so any body tell me that i have baby girl or baby boy.bcoz my ultrasound is not clear baby on one side n this is my 30th week.so what can i do now actually this is my first baby and my family lived in pakistan.i m alone here thats y i m very confused n excited..please u all tell me .what can i do now about our baby gender.

Well Mona, there is a 50-50 percent chance that your child is a girl. And then again, there is a 50 percent chance that your child is a boy. Usually the child's heartbeat is faster than an adult's heartbeat.

The nurse at the obstetrician's office told me there was an "old wives' tale" that when the baby's heartbeat is over 150 it is a girl. It turned out my baby, with a heartbeat over 150, was a girl.

You can't count on that type of thing, though.

If the doctor orders another ultrasound maybe the next time they'll be able to tell. Otherwise, you just have to wait and be surprised about what your baby is. I was surprised with both my babies - and it was fun to have to wait and see what I got!
