I'm a Venus fan but little Sis is ahead. I can't wait for the Aussie final. I saw Sharapova play in Staples agains Mauresmo and she's just gorgeous. But I have to pick warrior princess Serena this weekend.

Serena is a cross between Chris Farley and Arnold Schwarzenegger; Venus is a cross between Shaq O'Neill and Pee-Wee Herman. I think that Chris and Arnie would defeat Shaq and Pee-Wee in a doubles match, so Serena is a better player.

Right now Serena. What happened to these girls? Serena is currently ranked #81 in the world prior to the Aussie Open. These girls were awesome when they burst upon the secene. Injuries probably slowed them down.

i think serena was always the better one.
even back where they were the top players in the world, i always though venus was trying to be as good as serena.
obviously now, serena's the better one because venus didn't even qualify for the australian open, whereas serena won it.

Serena is better. The results speak for themselves. Serena is the owner of 7 grandslam tennis titles, and she is one of the only players to win grandslam...even if it wasn't in a calendar year. They are both brilliant athletes and beutiful people though.
just a note brightey Z - the question was not who has more natural ability, but rather who is better at tennis.

Serena has a better head-to-head record against Venus and also has more grand slam titles to her name. Venus has, however, won more WTA titles. Both of them are good, but Serena is a tad better.

if only they are not too injury prone they both can be the best tennis player there is. but anyway to answer your question it will be serena.
