A silly question, but there are good folks on both sides. We disagree, but we should still admire each other some time.

I think we like each other more than people realize. Hell, outside of this political forum, I have many friends of opposing viewpoints. Even on the Yahoo 360 I have made some liberal friends whom I get along with well. Its just when we get into this politics section of yahoo answers, we all feel strongly about our beliefs, and argue and debate. There is nothing wrong with it. It doesn't mean I hate liberals. I just really, really disagree with most of what they believe

I believe that we have to, as much as we can...even on this forum, because the real danger we face is from the The families like the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers, and the other members of the Globalist elite. They already control most of the money. They already own the World Bank, and the Federal Reserve, and they control most if not all of the fortune 500 Companies. They want to control the whole world, and enslave each and every one of us. If we don't want to wake up one morning in a police state, we have to wake up, and stand together, and fight them. Some of you will agree with me, but some of you will still call me a kook and a conspiracy theorist, but you cannot depend upon mainstream media for the truth, because the Globalists own and control the media. Take a closer look at the alternative media, and listen with an open mind, and then make up your own mind. But, you have to give a fair listen to all sides, before it is possible to make a fair and unbiased decision about what you believe to be true. This is not the time to just let things go! This is the time to wake up!!!!!!!!!

Yes absolutely. I have many liberal friends whom I admire very much.

They are wrong about politics in my opinion, but we can be friends and even have civil debates and discussions.

It takes a long time to change someones mind. If thats what you really wish to do, you must be persistent and must allow the other person to step back from their erroneous views slowly and with their dignity intact.

Some will never see your side, and thats something you must be willing to accept as well.

Like may be pushing it but I think everyone needs to clean the slate and try to respect each other enough to find a common ground. Our country is in too much trouble for a stand off.

One of the people I admired most at work was from the other side of the fence politically. He was irritatingly liberal in his politics, but he knew his job and was a very strict but fair supervisor.
I admired his ability to suspend his politics and actually hold people accountable for their actions at work. It was an incredible juggling act.

You'd be surprised at the friendships outside of the public political debate.

I think alot of them do, but when it comes to opinions and making laws they have to go where their gut tells them to go. After that, they probably go to the bar and have a few drinks together while watching the basketball game.
