I've heard some rumors that Howie Mandel scored below average on an IQ test in elementary school. They say that is IQ score was ~75. Anyone have any facts to back that?

I doubt this is the case, but even if it were, perhaps he was not taking the test seriously or the test was given in a way that would make it unreliable. When I was a child, it was thought that I was mentally challenged because I did not do well in school (because of a bad home life) but then I went into foster care and in a few years I was in the honors classes and the new school figured out I had very high intelligence, so perhaps it was something like that too.

In elementary school? How relevant is that today? Judging by his movies ,I would think he is near genius.

No facts, but if he did, that is just more proof that testing can be inaccurate.
