She has recently found out that her husband of over 5 yrs. has a wife and kids overseas. I told her to divorce him. What advise can you give her?

3 why he hid the other family?
4 marital status from the 1st marriage?
nobody can go and say "divorce" without sorting things out... if he is a son of a witch then kick him to the curb.

Are they the old family or does he still see them, send them money, call on birthdays and christmas. Is he a cad, a heel, a low life two timing sob? Or just a lovable man with a past?

technically, if he was married already, she doesn't need to divorce him because the marriage was never legal in the first place.
She should talk to an attorney about him being charged with poligamy.

Get a very good lawyer. And remind her that it isn't the other wife's fault that he is a jerk. She is probobly just as much in the dark as your fiend was.
