You don't approach the mistress, you approach your husband. The mistress did not force your husband to break his marriage vows, the husband is the one that stood made a promise to you to love, honor, cherish, the mistress did not promise you anything. Your beef is with your husband, take it to him, leave the woman alone, the husband is the one who betrayed you.
If you know the mistress, and if she was once a friend or acquaintance, then sever all ties with her, but do not have a confrontation with her. That will not solve anything, and it will reduce you to her low-life standards.
You are above that,
Best of luck to you!!

I've always thought that it would be really cool if the wife and the mistress could get together and confront the husband. Make him pick you or her, naturally he'll pick his wife. Then when he gets don't breaking it off with her tell him that you want a divorce because you don't want a cheater. Then he'll be the one feeling alone for once.

She's not the problem. He is. She might not even have known he was married. If she did then that makes just an ugly person and a waste of your time. Divorce him and get on with your life no matter how painful it may be. Seek counseling if you think it might help. Good luck. The end result should only be your happiness and not the drama that it is now.

Why approach the mistress ??
It is your husband you should confront and deal with...
You can do nothing to the mistress but embarrass yourself...

POOR YOU. If you have caught them and he has not repented, then let him go. Sad, but life must continue.
If you are giving another chance, then don't think or harp about the past. Work on your marriage again.
If he doesn't worth a second chance, then look into the future and remember every dark cloud has its silver lining.

If you have already caught them, you don't need to approach her at all. She is nobody. The person you need to approach is YOUR husband. You are married to him, not her, and since you caught them you and your husband need to figure out how you both want to move on from this, ie. divorce, counseling, etc.

With a big smile ...a list of his bills , his dirty clothes and his smelly shoes and wish them all the best and then walk away thanking your lucky stars you found out when you did just what type of man you married ... shoot you might even feel sorry for the poor girl after all IF he can't keep to one woman what makes her think she is so special he WILL do it again ..
Please don't forget to have yourself tested for any STD's that may have been picked up because of this ...
All the best

You dont. Deal with your husband and the issues between the two of you. I dont know your situation or why he strayed however, I feel when a person strays...the one betrayed has to look in the mirror and see themselves, be honest. She was with your husband but not the reason he strayed, leave her out of it. The problems lie between you and him.
