I'm trying to cut down on sodium but I love eating at El Pollo Loco. Just wondering if this restaurant adds salt to their chicken.

Yes and unfortunately you can ask for your order to not have salt added since it is in the marinade. Most of us in America enjoy our salt too much. I don't even keep salt in the house.

I work their, and the salt is in the marinade. That place is not as healthy as people think. Eat it enough, and you will get fat. If you don't believe me, check out the nutritional information at www.elpolloloco.com and see for yourself.

Yes they sure do... most chicken places do, they season the meat in a blend of spices and then the batter has salt in it as well.
