A man who would treat me as well as I would treat him. A friend, a confidant, someone who is trustworthy, has a great sense of humor, is MATURE, someone who shows respect to all including himself, has self confidence, a strong ego (which is not to be confused with being egotistical), is kind, thoughtful, considerate and generous (generosity doesn't always involve money or material goods). At least these are the main things I look for.

Thats an easy one. The reason it is so hard to find a decent man is because each woman has a different view on what a decent man is. What works for the goose doesnt always work for the gander. Everyone has some decent aspects but, also have some that maybe questionable depending on the judge.

Not necessarily handsome but interesting. An independent person who has a job, own place, a wide variety of interests, knowledgable about the world and interested in learning more, a good sense of humour, able to laugh at himself yet is confident and has a set of principles that he believes in, kind and caring when needs to be, tolerant of others and their different beliefs etc.
May I say that this is exactly what I would expect from a decent woman also.

To me, a good man is one who is honest, respects himself and others, trustworthy, intelligent, hardworking, and has a good sense of humor. After you run into enough of the opposite, the good ones are easy to spot.

I like a man who is humorous, intelligent, mysterious, loyal and respectful. Those qualities really do it for me. And no, I can't always tell when I meet one, because I have been mistaken in the past.

I have a good man so I'd say I definitely know what I'm looking for. Hard working, sweet, smart, funny and if you're lucky, handsome to boot.
