First off, that's a 'poem', not a 'tome'.
Secondly, what do you mean 'how I write' it? You wrote it. What's the problem?
Third, 'thee side' makes no sense. It's 'thy side', 'thy steps', 'thy heart' etc.

'if thee desire' is correct, 'thee steps' is not.
