I want to live in Canada at Saint Cathrine's, and drive to Buffalo NY. to work. Is there any law against this, and is there an amount of time you can cross the border from the US to Canada without problems.

This is to be with the person I want to marry, and spend the rest of my life with. We have been together as a couple for over 2 years. This is not just a money issue, or a tax issue. We can deal with all the things that the government has hit us with on immigration levels. This appears to be the next step in our relationship together.

Yes you can. I used to work with someone in a Buffalo office who lived in Canada. I'm not sure what paperwork he had to fill out, but afterwards he was able to easily cross the border every monring with no problems whatsoever. And he said that it worked out well for him because he earned American dollars but paid less to live in Canada.

I think Canada and the United States have an open border with eachother meaning as long as you are not a felon or anything, but you still need your passport due to new laws in the U.S.A.

As long as you have the proper legal papers and documents, it shouldn't be a problem. The hassle would be the commuting time back and forth across the border.
