The group is Styx, a band from the 70s. The name of the song is Renegade.

Try going to the CW website as they could have all of the music from the Supernatural show including that song your wondering about.

it's called "Renegade" by Styx...I love that song!!...great episode!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
