I am looking for an australian site called freecycle, its where you swap items with no money changing hands

follow the links to your town, there are thousands of chapters of this recycling organisation.
Its about keeping stuff out of landfill.

google it and see if there is one in your area.
We've been members for a year, and it's not about swapping items, but you offer items you no longer want, and can get items from others, but it's not straight across swapping. It's interesting.

go to freecycle.org then on the left click on "Australia" then click on the cities that are clost to you that you want to join, you'll have to sign up for each one that you wish to join.
