At this point I am beyond left and right. Neither the extreme left or right has any vision to offer. There are issues such as free trade, medical insurance, immigration, minority civil rights, foreign policy, daycare subsidies, housing, etc. that must be dealt with.

I am not someone to support the radical left, obsessed with the anti-globalization movement, Palestinian rights, big-scale socialism, legalization of hard drugs, revolutionary protests and other issues. The religious right supports Bush's war plan, religion in politics, foreign oil companies, the outlawing of abortion and homosexuality, the military-industrial complex, the absence of gun control, capital punishment, etc. Neither side speaks for me.

Conservatives have their bad apples" in their mists, as do also the Liberals.

Liberalism on one hand is a "child like" philosophy, the "I am free to do whatever I want, dammed the consequences" thinking, which is erroneous and highly immature, since life ideally should be all about responsibilities, helping others and society and then self interests last, and that is what would make the ultimate ideal good human, example mother Teresa.

Conservatives on the other hand can suffer from too much inflexibility and rigidity, locking themselves to old ways, and not willing to grow or try new ways of doing things.

Realistically, in today's world, a Balance between the 2 philosophical ways of living is the most realistic way of living, without doing harm to most people around you and still enjoying a good moral life.

It's funny how a lot of them bash Kerry over his botched joke, but yet he was onto something. Most of the conservatives I've met, once they find out someone was in the military, treat us like we're retarded. I got into an argument with one guy on here that was all about supporting the troops and how unpatriotic it was to disagree with the President. He was all about the troops until I asked him about his service to his country. He came up with every reason he could on why he didn't have to serve. But it always came down to the fact that only poor people should serve in the military.

That is an absolute lie that has been proven. A recent study shows that Republicans donate to charity at a rate of 4 times that of democrats. The study also shows that Republicans do much more charity work, in fact democrats do so little that when they do perform charity work it is a statistical anomaly..

As far as the preaching goes it is the democrats who claim to be saving the world and performing all the work to help the poor but it is a lie.

Depends on what kinds of walk. They like to giggle at others and have fun all day that way. Double standard is the trait.

Some said these are well to do achievers, what I saw most of them are full of hate and biter. Their languages are among the poor rural working class red necks. Overly impregnated with obsessive fantasized religious interpretations (also called "faith").

Most of these uneducated folks just pretend they are republicans, while in fact, on food stamps or something.

Many? Not from where I am. I am a conservative Christian and proud to say that the conservatives I know practice just what is preached. I couldn't disagree with your statement more.

They talk a good game, but their actions don't jive, if I catch your meaning. I"m recalling the Florida Congressman who was put in charge of an internet-crimes against children committee, who kept text-messaging Congressional pages some pretty racy notes....or the House Leader who espoused values and integrity, and got caught in that nasty lobbyist scandal. GOPsters, each and every one.

The ones I know the best can't, but they are some of my closest relatives, and and not necessarily a representative sample.

Rational people might seem heartless to you but that it is because you lack either the maturity or the intelligence to base decisions on reason.
Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has no heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains."
Winston Churchill

What a completely inane question? Can liberals actually think for themselves or can they only react to the situation.
