I finally got up the nerve to call her. As she picked up the phone my mind suddenly went blank as I panicked. All I could think of saying was, "Hi, this is The Answer Man and Betty, my love for you is like this scar on my chest... ugly but permanent.

She sputtered for a moment and said, "You obviously have had a very busy day of crazy. Did you realize that C-3PO wasn't gay, he was British?"

I was so relieved to realize that I was talking to somebody that had the same trouble getting the thoughts out that I confidently responded with, "Please, let's not make THAT the focus of our conversation. Now what would Tracy and Hepburn say at a moment like this?"
