Are you talking about people interned in Nazi camps or the Nazi's themselves.
It actually is a fact that some known Nazi war criminals have received social security money at retirement age. Some would retire and move out of the USA and were still getting checks.
However it was because it wasnt known that they were Nazi war criminals.
I remember one who was discovered and arrested and he had been getting SSI for years.

I believe that is an urban legend, I read this in a book but I cannot provide the name.
