ok guys here is the story
my father told me today that he is terminating my health insurance and refuses to pay for my college tution because he doesn't approve of my going to university of phoenix to finish my bachlors degree. My current job which is home security sales doesn't offer health benefits at the company right now. I am currently applying for sales positions as car salesmen because I am really good at sales plus they offer health benefits plus the commission is very nice. I enjoy sales because i work with people, plus it keeps me self-motivated. I can work at other places like the bank or go back to being a pharmacy tech. But im tired of making 10 bucks a hour because now i have to save up for school.
My question basically is, will it be a wise choice to choose this direction

Sounds like your pops has control issues. It's your life, not his. My only advice is to get the degree even when it gets really difficult. Make sure the job is one that can go along with going to school. More power to you for doing what you want instead of being someone else's pawn.

Get a job that pays that pays the most' your education is VERY important
I am mature and a recruiter. It's like 1:23AM in NYC I tired

This is the first time I've heard of parent refuses to pay for education............damn.
