I want to apply at Victoria's Secret, but I used to work at Express & I walked out of that job because I couldn't stand them anymore. They are both owned by the same company, & I was wondering if I still have a chance to get hired at VS.

sure you do - its mainly up to management, although they may use your personal file at your previous job as a reference. I would say to go apply if they are hiring. It cant hurt, and then if you dont get the job, you can move on somewhere else. Just put your best foot forward and show them that you are dependable and that you are a good employee.

Hiring is up to the manager of the store, not the owners, odds are if you are qualified they would hire you.

If you don't need a reference from them why mention that you worked there at all?
