I know it is part of the Super Bowl, but why do they feel the need to talk about it all the time? Isn't the game the reason these two got together in the first place? I am sick of it. If they want to talk about it somewhat, but keep the game and the coaching strategies first, that's fine, but Dungy and Smith are not going to change the world or do anything significant to advance mankind. It's not the moon landing, it's football.

Besides by them keep promoting Dungy's and Smith's race, aren't they actually singling these guys out because of it? Isn't that the exact opposite of teaching everyone not to look at race as part of a person's make-up?

I agree and I was the first to say "so what" when they first said it after the Colts game. As if their race has something to do with it at all. They are just smart coaches like any other smart coaches in the league. Thanks for pointing this out.

it's a double standard. black people want to look beyond race unless it's in their favor. tiger woods is a successful black golfer while oj is a murder suspect. jackie robinson was the first black major leaguer while barry bonds is a steroid user. vince young is a black qb while michael vick is a scrambling qb. dungy and smith are black head coaches while art shell & dennis green are fired head coaches. see the pattern?

AMEN SIR!!!!!! what is the point to this ridiculous description of the superbowl??? isnt this game played between two teams with good not great football coaches. its just another way of pointing out another racial event in history to make things more of a big deal by pointing it out over and over again. why does it matter that their black????? do black coaches have something that whites dont?? no its just another thing that espn will go on and on about, let the superbowl end and they will be back on T.O. over and over and this will be forgotten about

It is crap. Black people are not oppressed anymore. These are just two good coaches leading two good teams in an power d versus a super offense. I'm starting to think that most black people are racist. I'm in the military and my supervisor is black and his fave player is Brett farve, while mine is t.o. We don't see color, and i hate that America is making such a big deal. Beside is tony dungy even black, i thought he was Porter rican.

It is just an interesting fact, it took this long for one to get to the game. By the way, just wait until the first starting black QB wins the Superbowl, it will happen again, just too bad it was not Baltimore this year, I am picking them for next year to win though.
