Well, lets think about the important changes.

1. The founders of our country recognized God in the formula and acknolwledge that we were a nation UNDER GOD.

Today's delegates would remove all mentions of God from all government documents, statues, currency, etc.

2. The founders of the country spoke of men and meant MEN. Women did not have the right to vote and were considered chattel (property).

Today's delegates would find language that would involve women.

3. The founders of the country would have NEVER considered anything to do with homosexuality.

Today's delegates would find a way to be INCLUSIVE.

4. The last thing on the founders minds was this thing called DIVERSITY.

Today's delegates would find a way to celebrate DIVERSITY.

5. Slavery was an accepted lifestyle when the country was formed.

Today's delegates would find language recognizing the abolishment of slaves and the equality of every race.

6. The founders had not experienced the industrial revlolution and the machine age and the information age and all the other ages we have had since the country was formed.

Today's delegates would include language that would support the rights of capitalists and every other class of individual,

7. Founders of this country had never heard of Women's Lib and would turn over in their graves if they heard what had happened in this area.

Today's delegates would include language to celebrate the Libbers and encourage them to scorn men.

8. The founders knew a world that was wild, exciting, dangerous, difficult, new, and filled with adventures.

Today's delegates are in a world that is rife with deceit, lies, political posturing, and power grabs and would find language which would give them complete and total control if they could write it correctly.
