there is no doubt that SHAHID AFRIDI is one of the best cricketers. moreover he plays test cricket quite well and have 4 test centuries. he is more consistent in test cricket than ODI. So why he is always ignored in the test matches.

The only time I watch cricket is when Shahid Afridi is playing. That dude is one of the only exciting players to watch in the world, the only other is Chris Gayle. That hundred of 37 balls in his debut innings is one of the reasons why he gets dropped all the time. The selectors have seen what he is capable of, so when he only makes 20's and 30's they are right on his case. I really feel sorry for Shahid, coz he is one of the few great spectacles in cricket: a guy that is willing to hit sixes!!!!!

Shahid was not performing well during past few months thats why this time he is sitting out of the team , but this is temporary and he will be brought back for world cup , well there is no doubt of his being the best hitter, but problem is that he is not consistent and don't take game that serious as he should. he couldn't perform well in test cricket too since last few series. But PCB can't ignore him for world cup as he is a good allrounder !!

that just depends on the performance and form...he was given enough chances in the both forms of cricket...he is lookng forward to another surge back into the team for the world cup...the problem with him is..that he is not dependable...u cant trust him....Gilchrist is as destructive as afridi..and so is Dhoni....but afridi and klusner from south africa... were the only two who were not dependable that why they both r not in their teams

He wasn't picked for the test squad due to his below the par performances recently. But he is one of the players who are under consideration to be selected for the ODI squad.
