I live in texas and it's so hot but when it gets cold, I cant take it! And i'm moving to wisconsin *shivers*

Dress in layers. They say that wearing 2-3 layers of clothing will keep you warmer than wearing one bulky sweater. And it has the advantage that you can remove layers as you warm up.

I recommend getting a pair of Cuddl Duds. They're quite light and can be worn under just about anything. Throw on a pair of pants and even a light sweater, and you'll be set.

And get some tights. They're thin, but they do help. You can even cut the feet off if they bother your toes. That's what I've done. This way you can wear them under your tighter pants and they won't add bulk.

Mittens are better than gloves because the little bit of heat from your fingers and hands keeps them all warm.

Wear a hat and get a good pair of winter boots. If you keep your head and feet warm the rest of you will be warm too.
