They would be drummed from power and would have to wait quite awhile to come back. With democrats it is quickly forgotten.

Republicans police themselves; when one of it's members messes up they boo them out. When democrats screw up they get applause for their "courage" and get standing ovations on the House floor.

It is very frustrating at times and I sometimes feel like we are losing ground because of this but I still think it is better to truly practice ethical behavior.

When I say ethical behavior I mean controlling those who misbehave. Regardless of the group be it Rabbi's, cooks, judges, doctors or Indian Chiefs some of the members will misbehave. It is ho the situation is handles which determines if the group is behaving ethically.

I see Jeff P is an apologists for the leftist, don't they always have an explanation. Didn't Lott lose his leadership post for praising Thurmond, he did not imply racism but the leftists claimed that his praise of the Senator was enough to prove racism. Remember the staff leader who was fired for using the word "*********", even though the word is not racist he was fired because someone could mistakenly confuse the word for a racist one.

So in review, if Democrats use racist terms then it is OK IF they were joking be Republicans must try to imagine how each word they use could possible interpreted as a racist word face termination.

No Dino we do not care for that PC crap but we do not like living in a world where we are forced to submit unquestionably to it while the architects of PC; the democrats are free to ignore it
