I'm wearing black flare pants with a red sweater - I have black ankle boots OR black strappies shoes, but you can only see my toes, not my ankle... (I don't generally wear stockings, so bare toes??? will have to do a home-pedicure real quick) I like the shoes better than the boots, but I'm not sure what's okay.

Need an opinion please.... no I'm not a fashion follower, so I just want to look nice, not trendy....

These are pretty much them (pants and shoes)

It really depends on a lot of things, especially what kind of business it is- if it's more creative like an ad agency then you may be able to get away with it, but with more conservative environment it may backfire on you. Most important, if you do wear open toe shoes, please wear stockings or other hosiery- most workplaces do not accept open toe shoes even in summer. After all, you don't want this to jeopardize your chance of getting this position. I would wer some nice pumps personally. Good luck on your interview!

No, they are not conservative enough for an interview. Wear a plain closed toe pump or you can probably get away with the ankle boots. If you are wearing pants and a sweater, you need a jacket over the sweater. You want to make a good professional impression.

Depends on what type of job you're interviewing for, and where. Typically, chunky shoes are considered more casual- an open toe shoe is fine as long as they are more sophisticated. A good pedicure is an absolute must! Your skin and nails on your feet should be perfect! If you're second guessing the decision to wear them, the answer is probably to pass.

You shouldn't wear open toed shoes to a job interview. The boots are a much better choice. Remember first impressions are everything so you want to look your absolute best when you go! Good luck getting the job!!

u want to look as professional as possible and open-shoes will not convey that...try wearing a nice pair of simple flats if u don't have comfy heals...or just wear ur boots...as much emphasis is placed on ur appearance as how u answer ur interview questions...my advice is less is more...don't have ur potential employer be distracted by anything u wear...for example big dangly ear rings...keep the focus on ur skills and abilities...i'm also not sure about the red sweater...red tends to be a really bold color...try another color like blue...it's a power color...gud luck...i'm sure u will be fine

Boots would look more classy. The sandals look too casual. Personally, I don't like them at all. Stick with the black ankle boots.

Yes. As long as they are dressy it's ok. And as long as your feet look good in open toe shoes.

If the interviewer is a guy, he is not going to care.
