Agreed, but you also can't force me to pay for you to live the way you choose either. That is why there is opposition to state funded abortions for example. I could give a rats @ss if you have an abortion, just don't use my tax money to do it. The list could go on and on.

democracy is run by the masses, you either select a side regarding a topic or your vote is worthless. besides, its Democrats and Republicans, or conservatives and liberals; you can mix and match (rarely).
