It's funny that you thank God after denying His existance. Let me tell you, He is real. All I can do is tell you. It is your choice whether or not to believe what I tell you. You will one day regret denying Him. Trust me.

i have been a Christian and an atheist. Christians are way more desirable enthusiastic about God. Christians continually trouble that they might have displeased God, trouble about what God needs them to do, and trouble about even if their fellow Christians imagine they're pious or blessed sufficient. there's a fairly intense percentage of atheists on YA. it is in all likelihood because maximum forums for discussing faith kick out anybody who would not save on with the team chief's doctrine. There are not very many open forums dedicated to the concern of religion, so those that exist get various of atheists who have a good time with discussing faith. It also looks that many believers who come right here get scared off even as they see that different critiques are freely allowed and scurry off to a closed communicate board the position they ought to not must be uncovered to concepts that frighten them.

If it bothers you so much, move to Islam where the talk of it is forbidden. How can you have a right to believe there is no God, but they have no right to believe there is one?
John Adams said that people will speculate it, but religion and morality are the principles that will establish freedom in America. Try looking into what values the country was built upon. I should only hope that then, you would consider rethinking your view on how "bizarre" those laws are.

How can you be serious about any religion and not be 'obsessed' with God? If you really believe, God is all. If you don't believe, God is nothing. It is a gamble we take. If the religious are right, one has to feel sorry for the unbelievers; if they are wrong, it doesn't matter since once death occurs nothing or no one is left to care at all.

First of all you seem a little confused.you wouldn't be thanking God for anything if he didn't exist. Becoming a christian is on of the best things that can ever happen to anyone....and one day you and everyone else will see just why that is. God is REAL and I will definatly pray for you!! God bless everyone!

Personally I could give a f*ck if they obsess about god. It's mindless belief in something that has no basis in fact or logic.
To the answerer who says I can't disprove it, if you understood anything about logic you would know proving a negative is impossible.
What I do care about is when they think they have the right to push their beliefs and "morals" on me. No thanks. I have my own and I don't need yours too, especially not legislated for me for "my own good". Go pray to your silly god and keep out of my life.

You completely contradict yourself. It's like a joke I once heard, "An atheist was walking through the woods admiring the scenery when out jumps big Foot! 'Oh God, help me!' he cries out, just before Big Foot is about to kill him. Then everything pauses. Just then God appears, and says 'Why did you cry out my name? I thought you didn't believe in me?' The atheist then says, 'Ya, well just up until about 2 seconds ago I didn't believe in Big Foot either.'"
You claim to not believe in God, yet you say "Thank god we finally elected..." Come on. Get real.

You truly are pathetic... in one sentence you say there is no god, yet in another you say thank god... since there IS seperation of church and state in the US, there were NO religious laws passed in this country. Grow a brain, moron.

Well first of all, I'd like to say that I agree with you, but just because you don't believe in God does not mean that you can go around insulting others' beliefs. Yes I don't believe, but I respect other people's decisions. You should still act ethically (not talking down to others because of what they believe) even if you don't believe. It's a great way to live. I believe that you don't need someone else to live a good life for. Do it for yourself. Not God, not Mother, YOURSELF!
