I just found out I'm having a baby boy, I'm so excited and still a bit over whelmed over the whole pregnancy thing. My spouse and I have spent countless nights the past few months buying and searching every baby name book and past family members for names, and we think we've finally made a decision.

We really like Curtis Samuel Chapin. What do you think? Samuel's my husbands name and I found I like how it works with the name Curtis. I know it only really matters what we think, but I'd like the general public's opinion, and he will have to live with this name the rest of his life.

Try this combo Samuel Curtis Chapin. Curtis is not an attractive first name. Samuel is a very masculine name and pleasant on the tongue. Good luck with your brae boyo!

Re. "It's not over used & easy to pronounce! Sounds like a winner!"

Indeed. And it's spelled correctly, and free of negative associations.

Nice initials, too -- I suspect the "C.S." part is why you got "sounds like a famous author..."

I'd also, at first, lean towards Samuel Curtis, but if you don't want a 'jr,' the way you have it is fine. Really, one of the better names on here by far.

I like both names, but I like Samuel Curtis, instead of Curtis Samuel.
Good luck to both of you, I wish you an easy delivery and a healthy baby boy.

I really like Curtis. I considered this name for my son, but I knew someone by that name I didn't want to be reminded of.

It's not over used & easy to pronounce! Sounds like a winner!

I personally love it. I think passing names on is honorable. My middle name is Creed. It has been passed down through the generations and I intend on doing the same. Maybe you can start a trend.
