What was previously thought to be the world's biggest spider was, in fact, a scorpion. It means the biggest spider ever, is now the Goliath Bird eater.

Note: This information has been quoted from a news release issued by the University Of Manchester.

I believe it is the Goliath Bird eating spider..a tarantula that actually eats small birds. it is found in south america, the uber huge camel "spiders" aren't really spiders at all they are in the scorpion family...but they look as nasty as any spider ever did.
