want to remove dust, stain through dry clean from our silk quilts

It depends on your quilts - for very old quilts, quilt conservators use a vacuum and a screen. They place the screen over the quilt and vacuum gently through it, lifting out the dust. True "dry cleaning" isn't really dry - fabrics are saturated in chemicals instead of water. I really wouldn't recommend this for your quilts. Neither would regular washing be good for them especially if they are older - the dyes may bleed.

i dont think there is any really safe way to wash them at home. take to a laundrymatt and put on the cool and gentle cycle in the largest front loading machine you can find. then dry on a low setting as well. good luck
