did everything possible to get rid of this message, do I have a virus? if not how do I get rid of the message?

norton might not be able to get rid of it...here are a few more things you can do
1) if you remember about when you got the virus, go to the start menu-->all programs-->accessories-->system tools-->system restore
restore the computer to a time before you got the virus... (make sure you can find all the programs somewhere else in case they get removed as well)

2) make sure your norton is up-to-date (current version)
then re-scan

3) download a new antivirus program. here is one free one: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
make sure you completely disable norton so avast can run properly (disable only after removing the internet connection)

these are not in any true order, but i recommend trying the second, then the first, the the third.

end utilising limewire. this is not solid utility, its litered with secret agent ware and spyware. Even the paying version. and how that utility acts, defeats te purpose of having norton risk-free practices as your commencing you pc ot hackers.
